This is an article I wrote for my original blog, Enlightenment for Schmucks.
Many years ago, my former mother-in-law asked me if I had ever heard of the Indigo children. I told her I had not. She explained that the reason for her question was that she believed I was one of ‘them’. Naturally, I was intrigued.
After reading the characteristics of Indigos, I felt a connection to many of the qualities they exhibit: rebelliousness, empathy, and the ability to ‘sense’ the truth in others, just to name a few. Yet, pretty quickly, I shoved the entire conversation to the back of my mind. I wasn’t yet spiritually grown up enough to know what to do with this information.
After my divorce, I met a man through an online dating service who surprised me on our very first date by posing the same question to me that my mother-in-law had years prior. This second clue into my nature piqued my curiosity, and I started researching more about Indigos, as well as Crystal and Rainbow children. It wasn’t long before I realized being an Indigo was part of my makeup.
My research turned up a lot of great information on Indigo character traits and inspired me to pen a unified message for those of us who are interested in bringing about a whole new way of being in this world, free of chaos and full of peace.
The Indigo Manifesto
We are turning the world upside right.
We are replacing capitalism with cooperativism; divisiveness with connectivity; depravity with humanism.
We are healing the illness of greed with the power of Forgiveness.
We are putting money back in its place as a tool to help advance everyone, rather than as a measure of the worth of anyone.
We are not interested in fitting into this world, but in having it grow up.
We run ideas not through the filter of finance, but through the filter of our Souls.
We are using our resources to aid a record number of people in finding and fulfilling their purpose on Earth.
